Happy Boredom

Light Bot is an ingenious puzzle game from Armor Games. It is incredibly addictive. The gameplay requires you to think like a programmer by breaking down repetitive moves into functions and loops to solve the puzzles.

It reminds me of a visual version of old programming tutor simulator called Ootpik that I used at Harvard summer school. I didn’t go to Harvard, it was simply a Harvard summer camp for high schoolers. One of the most memorable summers of my life.

Gametrailers.com has a wealth of great gameplay videos for Call of Duty: World at War (CoD 5). This trailer has a lot of action but for some reason the graphics just don’t look as compelling as Modern Warfare. Nevertheless, I can’t wait until it comes out later this year. I doubt it will beat the weaponry in CoD 4. It would be awesome if they could get 4 players on a machine only like Halo. There is a a severe lack of party games out there right now.

Call of Duty: World at War is coming out this November. Video trailers are online at the official Call of Duty website. It looks pretty cool I guess but something about it isn’t as gritty as CoD 4.

Some artist named Pavel made a bunch of nice icons for the Call of Duty 4 prestige level badge medals. Unfortunately I can only claim prestige 2 badge.
